Pleasure Island is a section of themed nightclubs located within Downtown Disney's shopping, dining and entertainment district. Disney's Pleasure Island is an adult playground like no other. You're welcome to visit and enjoy the street and the shops for free, but if you plan on entering any of the clubs, a Disney Pleasure Island ticket is required. Pleasure Island Venues and Attractions
Anyone who thinks that the Walt Disney World Resort is not for adults has never partied in Downtown Disney Pleasure Island. You can dance the night away, have a laugh, or become a member of the adventure club. Alcohol is served in all of the clubs and there are kiosks located throughout Pleasure Island where drinks can be purchased. Pleasure Island's main venues are usually open from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. every night of the week. There are DJs, Live Bands, and a wide variety of popular music, videos screens, light shows and an incredible choice of clubs.
8TRAX is a 1970s themed dance club that sparkles with rotating mirror balls, and the glow of lava lamps. Put on your dancing shoes and get down to tunes by Donna Summer, the Village People, KC and the Sunshine Band, the Bee Gees. Walking into 8-Trax will make you feel like you've stepped into a time warp surrounded by 1970's decor and fashion. The walls are covered in 1970s memorabilia.. Every Thursday, the club at Disney fast forwards a decade and plays the best of the 1980s.
The Adventurers Club is a 1930s-style British explorers club featuring a staff of flamboyant characters portrayed by improv actors. Throughout the evening they make their rounds to share their stories and introduce you to the club's customs and activities. The club is decorated with many treasures and artifacts. There are four different rooms to visit including the Main Salon where you will be inducted into the Adventurer's Club by taking the club oath, singing the club song and learning the very important club salute. In the Mask Room there's more to the masks than meets the eye, keep an eye on them. The Treasure Room has a genie, but be careful what you wish for in this artifact filled room. The Library is where the main shows take place throughout the evening. By the end of your visit, you'll be a smiling proud member of the Adventurer's Club.
The BET Soundstage Club is a hip-hop and R&B dance club. Operated by Black Entertainment Television this Pleasure Island club was inspired by the musical programming featured on the BET Cable Network. Enjoy an evening of dancing to your favorite hip-hop, R&B, Reggae and Old School tunes. You can watch yourself busting a move on the club's video walls or spend time relaxing on the waterfront terrace. Make sure you arrive before 11 pm to avoid a lengthy wait in line.
The Mannequins Dance Palace is one of the most popular clubs at Pleasure Island. You'll quickly find out how this three story club got its name when you walk out of the elevator and find yourself surrounded by mannequins. On of the clubs highlights is a large video screen that shines its way onto the dance floor. Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club is a rock-themed dance club featuring three levels of entertainment and a large dance floor. Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club features live band and excellent DJs. The live bands cover your favorites and the DJs spin Classic Rock 'n Roll oldies as well as contemporary music. The Comedy Warehouse is a nightclub featuring an improv comedy troupe. The "Who What and Warehouse" improv group entertains the crowd every night here at Pleasure Island. You must be at least 21 years of age to enter the BET Soundstage Club, 8 TRAX, Mannequins Dance Palace, Motion and Rock and Roll Beach Club. The Adventurer's Club and Comedy Club are the exception, they are open to all guests under the age of 18 as long s they are accompanied by an adult.
