The Carriage Room Opening Act
Southern belles and gentleman greet guests at the door, but they aren't ushered into the arena just yet. If guests arrive early enough, they can take a walk through the open air stables. You don't have to be a horse lover to enjoy seeing these beautiful animals up close. Palomino, Quarter Horse, Paint, and Appaloosa breeds are just a few of the different breeds that you'll see at the Dixie Stampede. Approximately fifty minutes in advance of the main show, guests can enjoy the Carriage Room Opening Act. The Carriage Room features entertainers from all around the world. Dolly Parton has designed a pre show complete with singing and entertainment for your entire family. Be sure to arrive early so you don't miss a single minute of the action. The Main Show
At show time, as visitors to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede, you will be ushered into the 35,000 square feet arena for the main show. From the first moment you arrive to the grand finale, you'll be surprised, entertained and awed by the beauty of the horses, the magic of the special effects and the outstanding performances. The rush of adrenaline fills the air as each side of the arena cheers for their team in a friendly rivalry that is fun for all. You may even be hand selected to play a special role in the show. The Dixie Stampede Dinner Show involves live animals, dramatic lighting, great music, sound effects and pyrotechnics. This interactive show divides guests into North and South right away so that they can cheer on their team throughout the show. The show's performers, along with their trusty horses, represent the two rival teams. Dixie Stampede Dinner Show features 32 horses, dozens of cast members, live buffalo, amazing ostrich races, magic, music, and a full course meal.

Christmas Adventure
Every Christmas season Dixie Stampede transforms itself into a holiday fantasyland with; soft white snow, twinkling lights, old-fashioned Christmas costumes and a breathtaking nativity scene. Good old St. Nick and his elves from both the North and South Poles are there to usher in the spirit of Christmas. The show gets a unique Christmas twist when these mischievous elves start a friendly rivalry between the poles. Another treat is a live nativity scene; see the three kings atop live camels, and the shepherds with their flocks of real livestock. Festivities beginning in November and continue throughout December.
